Forest Department–regulated wildlife safaris in the Biligiri Ranganaswamy Temple (BRT) Tiger Reserve — a hill range in Chamarajanagar district, Karnataka that forms an ecological bridge between the Western and Eastern Ghats. Open jeep/gypsy safaris are run by Jungle Lodges & Resorts (a Govt of Karnataka undertaking) from its K Gudi Wilderness Camp, in coordination with the Karnataka Forest Department. Morning and evening shifts. Sightings commonly include elephant, gaur, sloth bear, dhole (wild dog), Malabar giant squirrel and deer, with tigers present in the reserve.
