Melghat Tiger Reserve Jeep Safari
Forest Department–regulated open gypsy safaris in Melghat Tiger Reserve — rugged Satpura hills and Sipna river valley in Amravati district, Maharashtra. Melghat was among India's first nine tiger reserves declared under Project Tiger (1973–74). It is remote and forested; the draw is wild landscape, forest and birdlife, with tiger sightings harder than in the popular reserves. Gates include Semadoh and Kolkas.
