Satpura Tiger Reserve Jeep Safari

Forest Department–regulated safaris in Satpura Tiger Reserve — the rugged Satpura hills, gorges and Denwa backwaters near Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram district, Madhya Pradesh). Unusually for an Indian tiger reserve, Satpura is known for walking safaris, canoe/boat safaris on the Denwa and cycling alongside open-jeep gypsy safaris. Access is typically via a boat crossing to the Madhai gate. Permits and vehicles are allotted online by the Forest Department; morning and evening shifts.
